Domestic abuse is about power and control.

It can take many forms and affects 1 in 4 women, and 1 in 6 men. It can happen to anyone, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, age, class, sexuality, or mental or physical ability.

Aiming to raise awareness and inspire action, the programme will include the Church's Response, Surrey Safety Community Unit, Surrey Police, Probation Service and Surrey Outreach Teams.

To reserve a place (costing £8 to include a donation to Chapter 1 charity), please contact Sally Pollard. Please make cheques payable to Godalming Baptist Church.

Refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.
