Christianity Explored

Curious? Sceptical?
Or want to know more about Christianity and the man who changed history?
Why not try Christianity Explored?
A free 7- week course looking into life's big questions, the man who be God, and how this changed the world.
Art Space

This group meets once a month, usually on the first Saturday of the month from 9.30am until mid day. This is a chance to be creative with other people for company and inspiration. Feel free to join in at any time in the morning bringing along any materials you would like to work on. For example a knitting project, or a quilting section, a sketchbook and pencils or a painting canvas.

Connect

Connect is a place where women can meet and share friendship. As well as those in the church fellowship we welcome those from other churches and our friends and neighbours. It is a great opportunity to get to know each other and encourage each other in an enjoyable and informal setting.
We meet about twice a month, usually Mondays. We walk regularly, share meals together, visit gardens and places of interest and also have talks and discussions.

Flower Ministry

“But though I know I am a flower,
The first to rise, the last to fall,
I’ll bloom for You, my constant power,
And know that You will cherish all.”
George Herbert
Clarissa's flower arrangements uplift us all every Sunday.
To sponsor an arrangement, perhaps for a special occasion or just for the joy the flowers bring each week, please sign up in reception - or email / call Clarissa.

Senior Moments

Senior Moments runs on alternate weeks to the Friendship Lunch on a Wednesday afternoon at 2:30pm.
It is a relaxed time for anyone who is free of a Wednesday afternoon, and culminates in afternoon tea.
We have had great times learning more of each others' lives with a series of “Desert Island Discs”.
Many of our speakers are ‘home-grown’, but we have occasional visitors from various Christian organisations. We have visited Wisley Gardens and enjoy a Summer Garden Party at the end of the summer season and special times singing old favourites around the piano - especially at Christmas.
Drop in and share with us sometime. You will be most welcome.

Friendship Lunch

The purpose of this group is to provide care and friendship, with a three-course meal served at tables.
An epilogue is given by visiting speakers during the meal. In addition, various outings are arranged during the year. Whilst there is no age limit, most of those attending are elderly.
The group meets fortnightly at Thursday lunchtime.
